I lost my stomach in January, 2023. I went undiagnosed with gastroparesis for years, even with many trips to the Emergency Room in South Lake Tahoe, Calif. In January an ambulance took me to Carson Tahoe Medical Center in Nevada, where doctors found that my stomach and most of my intestines were no longer working.
I went into surgery, where doctors installed a permanent feeding tube into my abdomen. So I will be feeding myself through a tube for the rest of her life, never to enjoy a meal again. I need financial help while I heal. After I heal, I will go back to work for DoorDash. I am in danger of losing my car and my apartment.
Unfortunately, I came home from the hospital with a MRSA infection. The first antibiotic did not work, so I went back into the hospital for intravenous antibiotics. I am back home now, and I am on my third antibiotic. Please pray for me.
